Professional Communication Skills for
Native Women

Your interpersonal communication skills say a lot about your effectiveness as a professional and as a woman. During this two-day class, we'll explore your personal communication strengths and you'll learn how to increase respect and productivity not only in the workplace but in your tribal commitments and home as well.

We interact with employees, coworkers, bosses, clients, vendors, children, friends and significant others every day. Each of these individuals has a different attitude, educational level and personality level, so to be the most effective, we communicate through varied methods, such as listening, speaking and writing, to ensure success.

During this class, you'll assess your communication style and develop a deeper understanding of those communication styles around you. You'll practice your newly enhanced skills with in-class exercises and role plays.
