Testing Information

To receive your Tribal Parliamentary Procedure Certification, you must register and pass the online exam with a score of 75% or higher. A successful completion demonstrates your understanding of Tribal parliamentary procedure.

  • There are 50 true/false and multiple-choice questions taken from the course material. You have a four-hour time limit for the exam. You must complete the exam in one sitting, and you will receive your test results immediately after you submit it. This means that you will not be able to sign back into the exam at a later date.
  • In class, you’ll receive instructions on how to get your unique username and password and how to access the exam.
  • You will have seven days from the last day of class to access the exam.
  • If you do not pass the exam on your first attempt, you will have 60 days to retest from the last day of class. A total of three attempts is allotted to pass the exam. Please note that you will need to submit a $100 re-testing fee for each attempt. Failing the third attempt requires you to re-register for and attend the entire certification course.

Designation and Badge

Upon successful completion of your certification, you’ll earn the official designation, FITPPC, that reflects your expertise and commitment to professional excellence. FITPPC can be proudly displayed after your name on business cards, email signatures, LinkedIn profiles, and more – signaling your achievement to colleagues, clients and employers.

Maintaining Your Certification

Your certification is valid for two years from the date it is issued. To maintain your certification, you must:

  • Earn 1.8 CEUs of Falmouth Institute training before your certification expiration date*: AND
  • Submit a certification maintenance form by the expiration date. CLICK HERE for the form.

Qualified training includes any applicable Falmouth Institute class from the following subject areas: Governance and Leadership Development.

*Falmouth will grant extensions for students who are registered for classes that begin two months beyond the month their certification expires. Such students will still need to submit their certification maintenance form by the expiration date. They must note on the form that the class is upcoming and, upon completion, resubmit their certification form.
