Registration Policies

Registration Information

Class sizes are limited. We recommend registering early to guarantee a space in the class. Advance registration prior to the class start date is required. Payment is preferred at the time of registration. Registrations without payment are not guaranteed and may be forfeited at any time.

Payments

Advanced payment by credit card or check is required. Purchase orders do not constitute payment. Falmouth Institute accepts payment by check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), or electronically via ACH. To take advantage of the ACH payment method, simply use the following account and routing number:

We would prefer you do not bring check payments to the seminar. Please mail check payments to:

We must receive your payment in our office prior to the start of the seminar. Credit Card payments not made online at the time of registration may be made over the phone by speaking with a Customer Care Representative at (703) 352-2250 option 3.

Cancellation and Substitution

Cancellations must be made prior to the start date of your seminar. To cancel your registration, please contact a Customer Care Representative at 703-352-2250 option #3. Upon receipt of cancellation, Falmouth Institute will issue you a cancellation number. All cancellations must be confirmed by Falmouth Institute at least 3 business days before the start of class without fee. Cancellations occurring less than 3 business days from the class start date will be charged a $75 processing fee. All paid registrants will receive a training voucher minus any applicable processing fees. This training voucher will be good for one year from date of issue. Full tuition will be charged for any registrant who does not show up for the class and has not confirmed their cancellation prior to the class start date. If Falmouth Institute cancels for any reason, at any time, you will receive a training voucher good for one year from date of issue.

Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the course start date. Please contact our Customer Care Department to coordinate a substitution in advance.

No Show

If a student fails to attend class, the full tuition is due and there is no credit available to transfer or refund.

Travel Expenses

You are responsible for all of your own travel expenses, including but not limited to airfare, car rental, other transportation expenses,  hotel, food and per diem expenses. Falmouth Institute is not responsible for and will not reimburse any travel related expenses under any circumstances.

Student Conduct

Students attending Falmouth Institute courses are expected to act in a professional manner at all times with our instructors, other students, facility staff and Falmouth Institute staff while attending a course.  Failure to abide by this policy may result in a student’s dismissal from a course and/or forfeiture of tuition payment(s).

Intellectual Property

By registering for or otherwise ordering a Falmouth Institute course, you agree and acknowledge that Falmouth Institute training materials are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. Therefore, you cannot reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, or publicly display/perform such materials. In addition, you agree not to use the company’s training materials, including but not limited to the concepts and ideas expressed in the training, for other training purposes outside of the Falmouth classroom or to create a competing product/service.

Photograph, Audio and Video Recordings

By registering for, attending, or ordering a Falmouth Institute course, you agree/consent to be photographed, video/audio recorded. Such recording will only be used by Falmouth Institute for normal business practices.

Acknowledgement of Risk

By attending a Falmouth Institute in-person training class, I, as a student and my employer/sponsor (if the student’s employer/sponsor is the purchaser of the training – collectively and/or separately referred to as the “Customer”), acknowledge and understand the risks and responsibilities of attending an in-person training class hosted by Falmouth Institute. Moreover, the Customer agrees that the acknowledgement and the terms contained herein are part of the contract for sale of the training class at issue.

The Customer understands that the coronavirus pandemic has temporarily, but significantly, altered the experience and risks of attending a Falmouth Institute in-person training class. The Customer understands and accepts that Falmouth Institute may implement changes in response to the pandemic, including but not limited to reducing classroom density, masking and requiring that all students, instructors, staff, agents and guests of Falmouth Institute training courses comply with all safety measures established by the company and/or mandated by appropriate tribal, federal, state and local authorities. The Customer agrees to comply with all required actions relating to infectious disease prevention and mitigation, including masking as necessary, while attending a Falmouth Institute course.

The Customer understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness while attending a Falmouth Institute course remains and cannot be fully eliminated. The Customer recognizes that the company cannot limit all potential sources of COVID-19 infection or any other communicable disease or illness and Customer understands and accepts this risk willingly.

The Customer has not relied on representations or warranties from any party related to Falmouth Institute, including any of its owners, officers, employees, agents, instructors, volunteers, or students, regarding the safety of, or the risks of, attending a course. The Customer has relied instead on its own judgment as to whether to undertake the risks.

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that by committing to attend an in-person training course through Falmouth Institute, the Customer is voluntarily assuming any and all risks that the Customer may be exposed to the coronavirus and may become ill with COVID-19, or other communicable diseases and that such exposure and illness may result in personal injury, illness, temporary or permanent disability, or even death.
