The Tribal Administrative Professional of the Year award
(TAPY) recognizes an administrative professional
who sets the standards of distinction in Indian Country.

Congratulations to Kristi Phillips, the inaugural recipient of the Falmouth Institute Tribal Administrative Professional of the Year (TAPY) Award!

Kristi serves as an Executive Administrative Assistant for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and brings 25 years of dedicated service to her role. Reflecting on the recognition, Kristi shared, “I feel honored to have won the TAPY award. Every time I look at it, I get a big smile on my face. Honestly, it has motivated me, creating a deeper sense of purpose for myself and team.”

Administrative professionals are often the quiet force behind the smooth function of Tribal Nations. TAPY aims to honor their excellence – acknowledging those who demonstrate exceptional dedication, cultural stewardship, innovation, professionalism and leadership in their roles.
